The Art Apprentice Online's vision is to become an accessible and inclusive ‘Online Resource’ engaged in developing and delivering programs for learning in order to improve the painting experience.


The Brush of Color program will provide an opportunity for all artists and designers who paint with Traditions and who would like to create additional lateral programs to further extend the reach of Traditions. Since the programs will be created by individual independent artists, the styles, subjects and topics will be varied and appeal to all kinds of painters. The Brush of Color program is designed to work in harmony with the present Traditions Educational Program. It will be designed to drive the beginner market towards a life long passion for painting. The Traditions Educational Program is still the core system and all 'Brush of Color' programs will flow from and around this core. The Brush of Color program will be designed to reach those new artists who do not have access to teachers, studios or stores which offer classes. Students will be able to work at their own pace through painting programs that encourage further learning. This will also provide a starting point for those who may not have a lot of extra time at this phase of their lives, but who still wish to learn to paint.

Who is this for?

Brush of Color is designed for the novice to beginner painter.

What is this about?

Brush of Color is a new educational concept developed by Jansenart Studio in conjunction with other popular studios, beginning Teachers and the Traditions Teachers of the Traditions Educational Program.

Brush of Color will offer individual programs based on one particular genre or style. For example, there may be a strokes of color program that is based strickly on landscape painting, or on still life, or birds, or animals etc.

Why the need?

Time commitments and accessibility to teachers have prevented many from learning the art of painting. Brush of Color will help to solve this problem for many.

This new format will included both book and video education. The lessons will be constructed in a manor that will be very easy for an artist to study at home at their own pace.

Where can you get this?

The program will be coordinated with other independent studios and their Traditions programs to give the beginning artist a wealth of educational choices and lessons as they learn the Art of Painting.
