Additive Color

If you would like to adjust the levels of color to see what happens, slowly move the bars on either the Red, Green or Blue slide bars and see what happens.
Try This Exercise and think about the results...
  • Move very slowly, one bar at a time to see how light will affect color (hue)
  • Move the bars to the top and see the effects of white light on a color.
  • Move all the bars to the bottom and see NO color. Why? Because there is no light! The same thing happens when the sun sets and we fall into darkness.
  • Move all three bars to the same level and see the different increments of value, and how value is directly related to the amount of light an object will receive.
