The Elements and Principles of Art - Learn the secrets of all artistic study. We've all wondered where to begin. The five Instructors from the AAO have created a very special foundational course to get you started. This course will introduce the student artist to the most important building blocks of art and is intended as an innovative guideline for your study of art. Learn why artists use and manipulate the elements of art to describe and create personal artwork. Uncover how the use of color, value, line, shape, form, texture and space, and contrast give the artist unique ways to create an artistic signature.
