This course will employ similar techniques used by the original artist, Raphael Peale who was considered the finest American still life painter. The course will show students how to reproduce a small materpiece along with a history of the artist himself. You will learn how to apply an umber underpainting, layer subsiquent colors and develop your own materpiece right from the comfort of your own home.
