Art apprentice online

Courage, Dignity & Honor - This online painting course features a male lion. This course study is designed for the artist who wishes to learn the nuances of painting realistic fur on this dynamic animal.  Course emphasis will be placed on creating different fur textures found on different planes of the face and body. There are many exercises included in this course, several of which are transferable to other subjects. Students will learn techniques necessary to develop depth, shadow and color contrasts ranging from background atmosphere, hard and soft, lost and found edges for establishing dimension. Techniques on how to handle the color palette and building form. Students will have the opportunity to receive individual critique from the instructor.

This online painting course is taught in an online virtual classroom at the Art Apprentice Online Art School.
